About the project

The Mariposa project highlights our ability to navigate the demands of a bustling downtown setting. Positioned right against the 101 Freeway, this property required both creative land use and thorough noise considerations to ensure a comfortable living environment. Each duplex reaches three stories, providing open layouts and modern finishes that make the most of limited city space.

A key challenge was coordinating with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) regarding an existing power pole on the site. We oversaw the pole’s necessary upgrades to meet the increased power load for all four units, staying on schedule while ensuring compliance with local regulations. From managing city paperwork to final touches on each unit, we aimed to deliver a streamlined process for the future residents and investors alike.
